Steve started
his career in facility engineering in Hawaii in 1982
as a college intern.
He completed his Engineering
degrees from Northwestern University in 1985, and
a Masters of Science in Engineering from the University
of Michigan in 1987.
In
1988 Steve moved back to Hawaii, performing facility
engineering, energy surveying, and construction management,
specializing in mechanical and electrical systems.
With about $90M in completed projects under his belt,
$31M of these specifically in energy conservation
systems, Steve took upon himself to obtain his own
licenses and started Pacific Energy in 2001.
Being a specialist in energy
systems, Steve also earned the title of "Certified
Energy Manager" from the association of Energy
Engineers.
Other Qualifications:
Formally trained and certified in USACE Quality Control
and OSHA Safety.
